A little about me...

I have been interested in photography ever since my dad bought one of the first Polaroid instant cameras way back when. He also had several 35mm and 16mm movie cameras, and to this day there are surviving reels of film and stacks of black and white images of kiddie birthday parties and family vacations that bring back sweet memories.

Over the years I have delved into a variety of photographic endeavors including underwater video and 35mm stills. My love of nature and animals has always drawn me to spend most of my efforts taking pictures of those subjects and, therefore, this website was created to share some of those photos with you.

My husband and I share our lives with four exceptionally talented Rotts and two Notts, several cats, horses, a miniature donkey and an African Grey parrot that talks too much. Since the early 1970's I have competed in conformation and performance events with a variety of dog breeds, having earned breed championships as well as titles in obedience, rally, tracking, agility and herding. I am also very actively involved in pet dog therapy with my wonderful rescued Rottie named Sophie.

Presently I enjoy photographing people's pets on commission and working at dog shows and trials in the southwest. My own menagerie has become the subject of many a photo as well. My work has appeared in national magazines and has sold worldwide in a variety of mediums such as note cards, stationery, holiday greeting cards, calendars and clothing.
